The data found within Sensor Tower’s Ad Intelligence is derived from a series of panel-based apps that are purpose-built from the ground up. We provide the most accurate metrics possible while delivering world-class user privacy and security.

We capture mobile app install advertisements across our panel of users while actively preventing the capture of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data. By combining the significant size of our panel, the resulting ad impressions over time, and general creative trends, we are able to project Share of Voice (SOV) across the mobile app advertising ecosystem.

This data generates Top Advertiser and Top Publisher rankings by Share of Voice across our supported ad networks. It also enables us to capture ad creatives shown to our panelists, which are displayed to Ad Intelligence users via the Top Creatives and Creative Gallery interfaces.

Our panel apps have always abided by global privacy and security standards. They have been independently verified to comply with GDPR.
