We follow the highest standards on user data privacy and only report aggregate trends and behavior, however we strive to provide the most actionable data for analysis of the Mobile App Economy.
This data enables us to calculate engagement metrics including retention, session count, session duration, time spent, and daily/weekly/monthly active users. In addition, we collect demographic information on user age and gender for those users who’ve chosen to share this data in order to provide general aggregate information about demographics of apps in the App Store.
Note: We typically update our Usages Intelligence Active Users data daily, while we update our engagement metrics quarterly.
